Glyngøre Strand is known for its child-friendly and clean beach, which is awarded the Blue Flag every year. The beach stretches over 3 kilometers and is up to 75 meters wide – with soft sand, clear water and shallow, calm sea, perfect for both big and small bathers.

• Glyngøre Water Park is Scandinavia’s largest water playground in the Limfjord with trampolines, water slides and climbing walls.

• The harbor in Glyngøre, popularly known as “Lille Skagen”, has around 100 moorings for yachts and fishermen.

• Glyngøre Cultural Station, in the old station building from 1884, tells about the area’s railroad, fishing and industry.

A little local pride
The town is also known as the home of cycling star Jonas Vingegaard, who lives here. His mother-in-law, Rosa Kildahl, also still lives in the area and has often shared stories about the local community.
