SEASONAL GUEST RULES
RENTAL CONDITIONS FOR SEASONAL PITCHES
Welcome to Glyngøre Camping, we hope your stay here will be satisfactory. This letter has been prepared to avoid doubts among our campers, and will therefore help you get the best out of your stay here.
PAYMENT TERMS:
In order for your seasonal pitch booking to be binding, a prepayment must be made when booking the pitch. If the full rent is not paid by the start of the season, the booking will be canceled (does not apply to those who have an installment agreement for year-round pitches).
If you have a seat and want the same seat the following season, you must pay in advance no later than upon departure or the end of the season. The prepayment is DKK 1500, the amount will be deducted at the start of the season. In case of non-payment or late payment, we reserve the right to rent the pitch to another party.
Season tickets MUST be paid before the start of the season.
If the tenant decides to leave the campsite before the agreed time, the tenant cannot claim any part of the rent back. If you move out before the agreed time, we have the right to dispose of the pitch (and provide another one if necessary).
Remember, a year-round pitch is a year-round pitch – and you commit to paying for the whole year even if you decide to sell/move out or whatever!
PLACES and DISTANCE RULES
According to the fire regulations’ 3-meter rule, trailer tents, storage tents, etc. must be set up so that it does not impair the neighbor’s installation options. Therefore, 1.5 meters must be observed to all boundaries. If a trailer tent or other tent is placed closer than 1.5 m to the boundary, it must be moved. If something is too close to the boundary, or we are asked by the authorities to correct the fire distance, the tent, trailer etc. will be moved even without you being informed. The firefighter has informed us that in the future, the tail of the caravan must be included. Everything that is flammable (awnings, clotheslines, storage tents, etc.) must also keep 1.5 meters to the boundary. It’s up to you to decide how close you put it to your own caravan.
It is permitted to pitch one caravan, one awning and possibly one tool tent per pitch. Anything not placed within the above must be removed each time you leave the pitch. Flagpoles, antennas and the like are not permitted anywhere other than permanently mounted on the caravan.
If the awning is used permanently, the dimensions must also be met. Remember the distance also applies to storage tents. Solid floors must be covered by the tent. No terraces, fences or similar must be made. Campers must always comply with the Camping Council’s rules. Cleaning up/keeping the area around your caravan and trimming the hedge behind the caravan is the responsibility of the tenant. Keep the site neat and tidy. If the space under the trailer is used for storage, skirts must be fitted as this must not be visible. Mow grass and edges at reasonable intervals approximately every 2 weeks. (lawn mowers can be borrowed from the information center)
It is not allowed to use roundup or other herbicides. Grass waste should be thrown by the fire. All pruning and cutting of trees and digging at the campsite may only be done by agreement with the camp manager.
The caravan and awning must be kept neat, clean and free of algae. The space around the caravan must also be kept neat and tidy.
Disagreements with the camp manager, or violation of one or more rules will be considered a breach of contract, and the tenant will then be immediately expelled from the campsite. No rent will be refunded if the contract is breached. There may be a fee for re-establishment of space etc. for breach of contract.
PARKING CARS AND DRIVING ON THE SITE:
ONLY ONE CAR PER. UNIT. IF THERE IS NO SPACE FOR THE CAR ON THE SPACE UNIT, PARKING MUST BE MADE IN THE GUEST PARKING AT THE DRIVEWAY OR ON THE GRAVHØJ SPACE.
It is not allowed to park the car on an unused space unit as it is a great inconvenience to the tourists we send to what we think is a free space.
REMEMBER: exercise is healthy. Save driving to the toilet buildings and the store (it’s good for the environment) instead take the bike or use your legs (it’s good for your health)
Therefore, driving on the site must be limited to the most necessary and always at walking pace. MAX 10 KM/T.
Driving is allowed between 7.00 – 23.00 for the safety of your fellow campers. The gate is closed between 23.00 and 7.00 In case of serious acute illness or if an ambulance is needed on site, please contact us at [FIRMA_TELEFON].
RESIDENCE:
The campsite may be used on weekdays, weekends, holidays and public holidays, however, you may not have a permanent residence at the campsite, you must have another registered residence (registered address) There are special rules for using the caravan for winter camping, which can be read on the website.
GUESTS:
Regular visitors can purchase guest passes and overnight guest passes. Guests have access to the entire campsite. Pool access can be purchased for DKK 25 per guest.
Guest cars are parked in the parking lot just before the barrier. Guests must leave the campsite by 22:30 at the latest, after which time the guest will be considered a camper and you will be charged the regular overnight fee for the guest. It is the responsibility of the tenant to ensure that their guests comply with the campsite rules.
PETS:
Dogs are welcome, but must be on a short leash. In the event of an “accident”, the dog’s droppings must be removed immediately. For the same reason, we recommend that dogs are walked by adults and not by small children. Do not leave your dog alone in the awning/caravan – and remember that a barking and/or loose dog is a great nuisance to the surrounding guests.
Remember that it is your duty to pick up after your dog.
ELECTRIC METER:
The yellow meters must be placed in the stand. It is the tenant’s responsibility to check the meter regularly. If the meter is faulty, the campsite will estimate the consumption. In case of an error, contact the campsite manager immediately so that we can rectify the error. We recommend that the power cable is disconnected at the trailer every time you leave the campsite for more than 24 hours due to the risk of fire and/or short circuit. It is the tenant’s responsibility to check if there is power. The campsite cannot be held responsible for lack of electricity.
OFF SEASONS:
During the low seasons there may be limited opening hours at the information desk, so please respect this and adjust your errands to the opening hours. In case of emergency, we are of course always available and helpful, please call our main phone number [FIRMA_TELEFON]. The kiosk and swimming pool will also have limited opening hours. Opening hours can be found on the doors or ask at the information desk. There may also be a reduction in facilities. For example, bouncy castles may be knocked down, closure of some toilet rooms, etc.
CLEANING:
During the school summer vacation there will be cleaning at certain times. Please respect this and use the next building. During the rest of the season there will be no cleaning times, therefore please use the next service building.
THE CAMPSITE HAS ACCESS TO THE PITCHES:
In the event of tree felling, site improvement, new construction or anything else, the campsite has the right to change an individual’s pitch, however, you should always contact us first so that you have the opportunity to find another pitch if necessary.

The containers set up may ONLY be used for general kitchen waste.
Bottles and glasses go in the bottle bank.
Beer and soda cans go in the can container.
Newspapers and paper are placed in the newspaper container.
Cardboard in the cardboard container.

Everyone must shower before using the pool. The pool area is a non-smoking area, see signage for where smoking is allowed. Dogs are not allowed. Always be considerate with balls and water animals. Water balloons are not allowed in the pool area as they damage the purification system.
Remember children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 16.
Play and ball games:
The campsite has its own playground and ball field. Help your children/grandchildren find the places where they can play and play ball. Ball games are not allowed between tents and caravans. Do not use the bouncy cushion in rainy weather and if it is not fully inflated.
WINTER STORAGE/Winter season
Winter storage is available for a fee. Winter storage must be notified and paid for at the information desk before the end of the season. When leaving the site before winter, all loose parts must be removed. Garden furniture etc. must be gathered on the floor in front of the caravan and covered with a tarpaulin if you do not have a storage tent.
If you have not booked winter storage, the pitch must be cleared at the end of the lease. The site must appear as it did on arrival, i.e. the grass must be cut and everything must be removed. If there is still something in the space, a winter storage fee will be charged. The landlord is not liable for any items left behind – not even caravans / tents. Abandoned items are removed at the tenant’s expense.
You are always welcome to come to the site during the winter months to inspect the vehicle, but you must keep your car/moped outside the site even if the gate is open. Always pay attention as we are working on site. Winter storage is available from the start of the winter season until the winter season ends. The caravan can usually be parked on the same pitch you have booked, there are certain areas of the site that are approved for winter storage. We will contact you to move the caravan to the storage area if requested.
In the unfortunate event that snow or storms bring down the tent, it MUST be cleaned up within a few days.
We WILL NOT look at tents that have collapsed completely or partially. If it is not repaired within 7 days, we will take the tent down and the tenant will be invoiced for this.
Remember that all buildings at the campsite are non-smoking.
We may be forced to expel campers if rules are not followed.
We wish you a great stay
Best regards
Gitte and Henrik
